I might do just TM and ticket drops this year outside of SPAC. I've gotten killer seats for Mansfield and Gorge the past three years through drops about two weeks before the shows.

Will use Citi presale and LN sale and the boards for the rest.

I have a Best Buy Credit Card, which switched over to being managed by Citibank last year.. do you think It would be eligible for the Citi presale?

Debating on whether to let my WH membership expire and try my luck that way.

It's been confirmed by multiple sources, including the GM of the Alpine Valley resort. July 3rd and 4th.

But people can still discuss if they're going to use WH for requests or not, or if they're considering other options, etc. So it's really no big deal this thread exists.

If it offends people there are thousands of other threads they can read and post in.

If I'm not mistaken there is a tradition that a certain user starts the SPAC thread. That is why it was locked, not because it was still 2014.

If that were the true reason the thread never would have been unlocked,
and the "certain user" would have started a new one to make it "offical"

The 2015 DC thread was created mid December, and Atlanta was created same day as SPAC. Only one thread was chosen to shut people out for two weeks.

I think it's because some of the people abuse the privilege of posting in certain threads since they go to those venues.

However, I still don't understand the logic of locking it regardless...

I will request only if it's in the immediate NYC/Brooklyn area. Based on last year's stale/repetitive sets it's not worth going out of state to see DMB. Plus you risk hearing the Lovely Ladies if you decide to go to a multiple night stand.
