The table kiosks at Chilis (yeah I know, wasn't my choice). What a shit show those things make dinner. Restaurant doesn't make it clear to patron whether you use kiosk or wait staff when ordering. Restaurant was seriously understaffed at lunch. It shouldn't take 15 minutes and a visit to the back to get a refill on tea. I think in so much as using the kiosk as an option to pay with card and split the check, great. At a fast food joint, order from them. But at a sit down place, I expect a little human interaction and service.

Electric fences. I never know if the dog in the yard is attacking my pup while we are walking and on the other hand, if a crazy animal was to enter that yard, that poor dog has no way of running away. The damn things bother me more than anything.

While on the topic of pet safety, which is what brought me into this thread...pet owners who recklessly endanger their own animals. On the way home tonight, I was driving on the highway, and a pickup truck in front of me had a dog inside the trunk completely unrestrained walking around the back of the vehicle that is going 80+ mph. All it takes a slam on the brakes for that dog to go flying out the back and get plowed by the traffic behind it. I'm doubly irritated at myself for not taking the plate number and reporting the jackass to animal rescue. I've seen a dog fly out the back of a pickup before and got badly hurt as a result - still ache for that dog to this day, and it pains me to think of how close the dog I saw tonight could face the absolute worst case scenario of that kind of recklessness.

Speaking of RT, this is less an irritant and more wishful thinking, but I wish there were ratings for genre, as well.

For example, sometimes I like seeing dumb action or dumb horror movies. Sometimes they have like an 80% but normally it's closer to the 40% area. Now, for horror movies, I know they are going to be kinda dumb, it's a given. So I know a 40% in terms of rating it as a film is probably accurate. But what is it in terms of dumb horror movies? Is it a good dumb horror movie or a bad one? haha

Also, I'm sure there's other sites out there that delve into this but eh, I never care that much.

I agree. there are really stupid comedies and everyone going in knows that's what they are--of course that isn't going to the be modern culture critic at the new york times' cup of tea. for example, Old School has a 60% rating on RT.
