been on here for almost 10 years, no clue why my posts are at 1 haha, someone posted the FLAC for night 2 and it was great quality, i was surprised night 2 went up prior to night 1. usually night 2 is the harder one to find, especially at SPAC. This was my 10 year anniversary at SPAC minus the caravan year and night 1 is the only one i'm missing. Might finally do the Gorge next year as long as they tour, hope to hop in that thread and find the ins and outs of the venue!

Believe it or not the tapers are a tight sub group that makes sure all shows get taped. It used to be that you'd see 6-7 stands at shows and you'd have multiple choices on which recordings to draw from.

There's a lot of work to take your raw recording and make it something you can use (FLAC, SHN). When you see a recording the next morning, it means that person wanted to hear it and get it out (to share).

The guy that recorded N2 is one of the best out there and he's been doing it a long assed time. He probably recorded N1 as well but hasn't had time to get it ready.

The standard has been to wait a couple of weeks. So, I'd expect to see it out this week some time. Perhaps even over the weekend

If I'm correct I saw the exact same mic set up at the right side of the stage, right at the speaker bank, for both nights

Well my night last night was amusing to say the least! SOJA is so good - looking forward to the next time I can catch them again! Dirty Heads are good but there is a small portion of their fan base that needs to be drop kicked. With that said, I could probably pass on seeing them again after the nonsense of the night.

That new amphitheater out in Coney Island is on point! Too bad Coney Island is at the edge of the world! Would definitely go back but it is a haul and a half!

I saw SOJA a few years ago at a music festival while waiting to see Grace Potter. I enjoyed them as well. Does one of the guys still have crazy long dreads?

There were two stands up both nights. One on each side of the back of the pit. If Drews' tape came from the left side (facing the stage), his was the lower rig; the other was 12-15 feet high.

I've been watching for it every day...but these guys have lives, too. It's out when it's out.

Last I saw N1 tape has a ton of wind somehow so they're trying to clean it up. Hoping they can get it out to us at some point.
