But I won't because I'll have my white privilege taken away. But I can't say that because then I am contributing to the problem by mentioning it. I could list a whole slew of actual problems facing the black community not caused by white privilege but that's racist so I won't.
Maybe you should actually read Drudge report... You might find the truth friend.
I don't think talking politics in a thread about a political rally is too far off base.

I can take sarcasm, but I think implicitly denying white privilege is real denies reality. And of course there are issues in the black community that are not caused by white privilege or by racism in general. However, the large structural issues in our country are founded on a basis of racism. School funding tied to property taxes, the drug war, the legal system and many other large federal issues have created a difficult world for minorities. I see this as plain truth that is supported by data.
Also, I read the Drudge Report, brietbart and other right wing media. It's full of conspiracy theory and opinion dressed up as fact. It's laughable to say you can find any truth in those source.
Also, a local news article stated "Dave Matthews Band" and that was how I first heard of this. Regardless, the vote for change tour included the entire band and was a get out he vote effort driven by democrats. Dave has been a vocal supporter of democratic candidates and the band has been active in community based organizations that democrats support since the 90's.
