Those considering going, camping is definitely the best option. Camping at Indio is glamping at it's finest even in the standard campgrounds.

Sound will NOT be an issue. Sightlines are a whole nother story.

GA is going to be a mile away from the stage. you're looking at ~125 rows of seats, the pit, plus walkways between the stage and the front of the GA. the start of that is going to be like being at the back of the lawn at a pavilion.

I am so used to being that far away from the main stage at Coachella that it doesn't bother me.

And that is still closer than many seats in the stadium. It's a polo field, everyone.

And that's how they're paying for this shit.

They know they're appealing to an older demographic and they want that better cheddar. Fat stacks. Greenbacks. Skrill. Moolah. Dough. Cabbage. Paper. Muhnay. Cash. Dollah bills. (I don't know why I'm doing this.)

Well this ticketing system sucks. I am still in "line." However, I am hearing everything is pretty much sold out.

3 day GA passes are under $200 for the weekend, and even some good seats ( first section, semi centered aster VIP)are under $500 for the weekend. That's a good fucking deal. Wish I lived close to oldchella.

bob dylan signs on for a greatest hits supergroup mega-festival, gets put on the bill with The Rolling Stones, and doesn't play Like a Rolling Stone

I love Bob Dylan but this is not a good look. No press photography. Barely shown on video screens. Why even play the event?

He's been doing that for some time. We saw him at ACL fest in 2007 and they barely showed him on the screen and always from afar.

Dylan was definitely one of the most underwhelming shows I've ever seen. Realizing now that it's been a full decade since I've seen him. Man, that makes me feel old.

I've always heard he's very hit or miss and more often than not a miss. He has so many songs that people want to hear but refuses to play them most shows.

Wow what an amazing weekend. The production of this was like no other. I have been to so many fests in my day and this one really did take the cake. If you have a chance to go next weekend do not pass it up!
