if u have a fruit fly problem:


put apple cider vinegar in a cup with a coupe drops of detergent
works like a charm! i ran my own little experiment and found that clear glass cups work best

My Keurig turns on but when I press brew nothing comes out.

If I take the k-cup out water flows through fine but nothing when the cup is in there. I checked and the machine is punching holes on both sides of the cup.

Any ideas?

Really what I'm getting from the GrownUp thread is not to have Keurig.

I'd suggest taking out the k-cup tray and giving it a good cleaning with vinegar/water mix. Might fix it.

i'll be sure to keep this in mind when spring comes, i had a pretty bad fruit fly problem last summer

We'll take a glass and put in some red wine. Put plastic wrap over that and punch a few small holes in it. Flies go in, flies don't come out. Fruit flies are the worst.

yeah keurigs are known for having issues down the road. luckily there are a lot of solutions to fix them

also, clear out the holes near the needles with a tooth pick. one needle has 3 holes next to it under the brewing head. another needle just has 1

ohhh ill have to try the red wine
i tried the plastic wrap method, got more flies when there was no plastic wrap (but a little detergent that got the flies stuck)

I have a Toyota with the SmartKey system. I realized that my fob is not on my keychain, but my car starts so it has to be inside the car somewhere. Does anyone know if there is a way to locate it (beeping sound or something)? I've ripped the car apart and cannot find it anywhere.
