i mean my whole problem stemmed because the movie he's making ends where the main character is lying down after getting shot and it fades out.

i asked him if the character dies, and he said it depends on how well the film does, if it makes money, then she lived and he will make a sequel. if it doesn't do well, then she died.

for some reason that bugged the shit out of me. how can you write something and not even know it ends? it seemed like such bullshit to me

To me that's fine too. You should always leave yourself an out as a writer IMO.

About to watch State of Play. I have very little expectations for the movie.

i believe in opinions, but i also believe there are some facts. i know bob dylan is more important than spears, and i know that john steinbeck is a better writer than john grisham

The first is true, the second is an opinion based entirely on preference of writing style. I like both (even though I loathe reading), but I would probably read a Grisham book before a Steinbeck book. Is Steinbeck more IMPORTANT to the history of literature? Sure. But you can't say as a fact that someone is a better writer than someone else, as that is opinion.

    Glitter had more attractive women.

That is one way it could be considered better. By whom, I don't know. But again, as obvious as it may seem, it is still just an opinion. Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Ring contains a lot of footage of people walking. This is a fact. Me thinking it is boring as shit because it is footage of a lot of weird looking people walking is a valid opinion, but that does not make it fact that the movie is horrible for anyone by myself. For I am a just a humble mother fucker with a big dick.

I don't look at other men's wieners so I have no clue if it is big or small, comparatively. So I just use the big and small interchangeably.

    Makes sense.

Also, (on an unrelated to Bo's dick note) I just learned today that "Buffalo buffalo Buffalo buffalo buffalo buffalo Buffalo buffalo." is a grammatically correct sentence. Who knew?
