Most took both if I remember correctly but there's also a couple ATMs around.

Terrace?? you lucky for sure! Morning donuts are SO good!! So we did find out about this last year and they did allow. They have a non-camping area for xtra cars. To be sure I would email the gorge campground to be sure they are responsive but might be getting flooded with emails as wr have 5 DAVES LEFT TILL N0!!!!

a lot of the festivals i've been to this year have had free water filling stations. does anyone know if this is the case or do you have to bring in everything you think you'll need/buy it there? or is there water fountains of some sort?

Premier camping question... Can't find much info on where toilets and showers are. Took a capture of Google maps, what did I circle, are those just honey pots?

WH camping tickets say no in/out, LN do not (or is it the other way around?). It is allowed, but discouraged, especially in late afternoon in consideration of the amount of traffic coming in for the shows. If you have to leave, make sure you account for delays in returning.

Those are the honey buckets.

Finally making it to the Gorge! Flying in from Texas, so we're just going to buy all of our gear from Wal-Mart when we get there. I see some people have done the same and then they donate it. Exactly where do you go to donate the unwanted gear?

We loan out gear every year to people that are flying out and sometimes people donate their gear to us to add to that collection. We are happy to receive it as long as we have room on our journey home. Otherwise most people that are reasonably local will take good gear:-)

Dont know if it has been posted but do we know what time the parking lots open? The Gorge website said generally 4 hours before showtime which is technically 5pm with the opener. Also is re-entry allowed this year? Oh and thanks for the poster tips earlier in the thread!

1. I called the venue and they said no alcohol in the lots. Is this your classic "don't let us see it" routine, or do they crack down hard on that?
2. What are the vendors like inside? I'm used to Hartford $10 beers and $12 basket of shitty chicken. I saw that you can bring in food, so this is more of a beer question.

Thank you for the info! At those type of shows I empty an Arnold Palmer can and pour beer into it in the car.

Last year at the Gorge I was only able to attend one show, and not all three. I parked in the regular parking lot and we did a little bit of tailgating as did several other people near us. Roaming patrols walked right by and did not say anything about open containers. Obviously, if people were being obnoxious and belligerent it might have been different, but everyone was cool with it.
