EDIT: They are always strict with one copy of each release only but if I can grab more than one, I'll try and see if they'll let me get away with it.

Yes, it is frowned upon to mark it up but unless they're gauging or being shady, RSD won't do anything about it.

Two years ago we reported a store because they marked LT 2 up to $150 & LT 3 to $120, which MSRP was nowhere near that. RSD was pretty swift. Called the shop owners and told them to either refund the kid in full and let him keep the albums or they'd revoke their RSD privileges.

Kid got both for free.

Oh, that's really cool! So, what is the MSRP of this then? is it 70-80? If my store is charging under $100, that's okay. I'm all for helping out a local business once in awhile as long as it isn't insane. Plus, the pink limited is pretty cool.

Anyone in the Manhattan area that could suggest stores near Times Square that might have it? I'm a Canadian (We got completely shut out this year on this release, no Canadian stores got it) My wonderful brother living in NYC might be able to go somewhere for me but both he and I have no idea about stores participating in RSD in Manhattan!

I'm not even going to get in line early. My store got a ton of copies of the stuff I want (Cash, Transformers, High Fidelity), and no DMB, so I'm not messing with a line.

Congrats on your copy though, I'm glad some people can get these today.

Scored everything else I was looking for except DMB Live Trax 5. How can there be runs shorter then 2000 that my stores get but DMB is always a no show.

It astounds me. I heard of a store that got 30 copies, but my state didn't get a single copy. Distribution of this release is just as screwed as it was for LT4.

He said he didn't get any of the 10 he requested.

My store had 4 copies, I was first in line so I was able to get one, but it was a 1 per customer per release limit for the day. I'll head back tomorrow and if there is anything left I'll try to pick it up for someone here.

I'm in Lexington KY for the holiday. One small record store wasn't able to get a copy, but another larger shop close by had 7-8 copies priced at $89.99 and strict 1-per-customer (one dude in front of me tried to buy 3 LT5's for his "friends" but the owner sent him back when he got to the counter). Numbers were random and ranged from low-2 to high-4 digits. I picked up No. 000039 (so f'in close...)

Hope some of you find similar success.

The newbury comics I got mine at had probably 8-10 left
