Ran into Steve Lillywhite last night at the Killers show at Webster Hall
Spoke briefly, told him how big of a DMB fan i was, thanked him for all his work. Got a picture with him and left him alone
Super cool guy, more than willing to talk to fans, probably could have spoke to him a lot more but i didnt want to distract him (or myself) from the show

He said that fans are going to absolutely love the new album.

This isn't a knock on you (or Steve), but that's what I'd expect ANY producer to say. Batson/Band said Stand Up was "so US and the old DMB"....

Exactly. I don't read much into interviews or promos. At the end of the day,the only thing I care about is me and how my ears translate it.
