No it is not. Of course the classic stuff is great, but I like it mixed up with songs like Eh Hee and Oh sometimes too. I prefer Radio City.

I think overall I like RC better. I just like the overall sound better, and Dave's voice sounds perfect. Although Tim does get a bit crazy at times.

Although... Say Goodbye, Tripping Billies, OSW, and Ants on Luther.

    Dude just get them both.

I have a pretty random question about Radio City. This seems to be the most recent thread about it, & my question does not warrant an entire thread, soooo.........

Before Old Dirt Hill Dave tells some fan something like "this is our show, we do it our way". What was the deal with that exchange? I imagine the guy was like, "this set sucks" or something like that. Anyone have any ideas, thoughts?

    BOTH

If i was on a desert island and had nothing [except for the sake of this scenario a cd player and unlimited batteries....haha]

And had to pick just one to have, it'd be too hard to pick.

    **EDIT**

That is of course just IMO

Still stand by my original post, but I'm listening to Radio City. I just need to say that the mix on Radio City is probably a top 5 mix from this management. Unreal mix.

Dave's voice is "perfect" because they tuned the hell out of it in post production. Makes it borderline unlistenable for me.

Newer live releases are still tuned but as the technology has improved it's a lot less noticeable. but when they first started doing it (maybe starting with the Gorge release?) Dave sound like T-Pain

his voice isn't that bad, but I see why some people would share that sentiment. I just focus in on the guitars and goddamn do they sound beautiful. Much deep. So range. Wow.

Agreed on the guitar sound....especially when Dave is playing the DM3MD in Drop-D tuning. Still my favorite Bartender and Crush from D&T, and a big reason is bc of the sound/mix.

Radio for the quality and Timmy's playing is better, I think. Luther is a stellar ******** set though.

Off topic: just got back from Mickey D's there. Was asked if I wanted to pay with some McLovin'. Had to hug the lady behind me. She was older, late 70's. So, I hugged the little sweetheart, and then I planted a big wet one on her cheek. Got my under the table today. I'm definitely lovin' it. Good things do happen.

not even you, a guy who constantly sells and buys a chet whilst hating on the sound of a chet, who has an awesome taylor, and likes playing guitar, have NO appreciation for the mix of Radio City?

Was only a matter of time before that hate came out for Radio City. Plenty of highlights in that show.

Luther was performed around the release time of Crash, so of course people are going to favor the shows/sets over Radio City. But to say Radio City is a bad show is laughable.

    Pure entertainment here.
