Poll: Perfect Studio Album Track 7

I am not the biggest DMB expert alive and am never going to claim to be. I voted for The Stone. I am not claiming my opinion is any more right than anyone else's.

What I know about Ants Marching is that it is exactly what many have pointed out, THE SONG that introduced many to the band (though for me, I was may have been late to the game and actually heard What Would You Say as my first ever song). Still, when I hear Ants now I am happy that it is on, but maybe because of overexposure or whatever reason, I am not filled with YES THANK GOD Ants is on. I can listen to it or it can be background music to whatever else I might be doing. But when The Stone is played my reaction is almost that everything else must stop so I can hear every note. It is just a song that, to me, isn't one I would ever say "nah, not right now" or "not today" to. It's pretty much guaranteed I will never hit the skip button when The Stone is on, and I don't know I can say I have never or would never skip Ants.

Again, that's just my reasoning/opinion...and it's not even my #1 favorite DMB song...and that #1 song may not even get my vote when it comes up in the poll because I truly didn't like it until I heard live versions...

I have so far really enjoyed this poll but I missed out on Songs 1-3 and now I am totally confused. Why in the world was Ants Marching not selected from R2T as the opening track and how could it possiby have received 0 votes in that poll?? I love BOWA but Ants Marching is way better than it still and so is the The Stone.

It probably shouldn't have even been on the poll considering it's a live cut. After a few tracks I started pulling all of the R2T live cuts from these polls.

This is already a popularity contest with track numbers. I voted for The Stone because of the other options it's the best studio track. I put together my own version of the perfect album and I tried to look at it with the idea that if the studio version is better than 90% of live versions I've heard, it wins.

I like BOWA more than Broken Things but I think Broken is a better studio track. So Right is no where near #41 but I think #41 is better live and So Right is better studio.

Love Broken Things studio but that and If Only on a perfect studio album?

The If Only choice is the most baffling. You'd pick that over..

I feel like you've been rooting for an underdog in all of these haha. Highly doubt LLD finishes above 3rd most votes for Track 8. I'd hands down take Crush, Captain and Seek Up over it.

I've heard Lover Lay Down live and it's so great. I based those decisions essentially off of if studio is better than live...

It's 100% between that and Crush for me. Crush is still such a great studio cut. tLWS Captain is the only thing that should contend for preventing BTCS from having 5 straight tracks on this thing starting with Stone.
