Coming from out of town to visit family, see the braves, and DMB. Got tickets through the public onsale, section 101 near the end of the section on the aisle. How is the view from the edge of 101?

Wanted to also put in my $.02 on the pit, and say that I feel like the reports of its death are greatly exaggerated. Was railed in front of Fonz two years ago, and yeah, it was hot and crowded, but I never felt shoved, packed, or pushed. Last year was back-railed in front of Dave and wife and I had our space all night. Kind of a pain to go beers/BR, but no big deal to me, just a bunch of "'scuse me"s (everybody else is leaving during "Mercy" anyway). Never turned away from the pit either for it being overcrowded. I am 37 and have four kids.

How many of the guys are in the pit? I ask because Best of What's Around hasn't been played in the state of Georgia since 12/27/94 at the Fox Theater. Y'all should chant for it throughout the show. It's one that gets fairly regular play so they should have no trouble busting it out if they want.

I have been railed the past two years in ATL and been fine, but when looking around it seemed everyone else was pretty miserable haha. Three people passed out behind me last year.

With regards to ATL pit, I have personally seen people turned away who had their wrist band on because it was oversold.

There is no excuse for that whatsoever.

I completely agree on that. I think I heard from someone one time the they take out like 350 seats for the pit and sell over 750 pit tickets. Don't know how accurate that is, but ridiculous nonetheless.

This was me 2 years ago. We spent the acoustic set in the lawn with our pit wristbands on. Tried again 4 songs into main set and they let me squeeeeeszze in the back. Never again in Atl pit.
