It's even better on blu-ray, or lossless audio. Release a blu-ray or at least a 1080P digital download.

DVD? Really? Why?
I agree with you. I was only making a point about the sound (which doby nixed anyway).

I guess this pretty much guarantees we won't get N3 from the Gorge, which was only a week later.

That's a real shame. I know it wasn't everyone's favorite set on paper, but there were some very unique performances in there.

Was really hoping for an official release of the Loving Wings, Typical Situation and The Stone, in particular from that show.

If you haven't heard those cuts yet, I recommend checking them out. Maybe we'll get a couple of them on a Warehouse 10 disc somewhere down the road.

I'd be much more excited if it said 3CD+2DVD because then we'd for sure be getting a 24-bit PCM track.

But seriously, when the heck are we going to get a DMB Blu-ray? I can get bloody Steve Martin and the Steep Canyon Rangers with Edie Brickell on Blu-ray now but I can't get a single DMB show? It's crazy!

Decent show, but there were certainly better ones to choose from for 2014. SPAC N1, Camden N1, Gorge N1 or N2, Hartford N2, Holmdel, the VA shows. You get my point

I hear ya... I don't get it either.

Blu-ray or not... I'd still be skipping this release.

There were a lot of weak shows in 2014, but this one is surprisingly even weaker than I expected for the first release from the tour. How the acoustic sets (main release or bonus disc) don't include songs like Two Step, PFWYG, IBYU, or even Stolen Away is a massive fail. Very few of the electric sets sparked much love from fans this year, but yeesh, this electric set is about as lifeless and bland as you can get!

I really wonder if management will see unexpectedly low sales numbers on this one. The DVD portion does nothing for me, and limiting the bonus disc to only Berkeley selections made for an even worse release than necessary. Passing on this without question.

I was at this show. Definitely the worst of the three nights - You & me into Can't stop (w/ the Ladies) is the worst two song run this band can have. That being said, pumped to finally get a release of a show I was at. I will say the crowd was electric that night. Anyone else notice management only listed 6 songs on the bonus disc (YMDT, Typical, Bartender, Loving Wings, Tripping, What Would You say) even though it says 8 songs for warehouse members? Unless I'm missing something, wonder what the other two song selections will be.

I get that everyone has their preference for a show to be released, but I'm surprised at the lack of enthusiasm for acoustic DMB.

I'm grateful we're getting a soundboard WWYS acoustic, while I know altogether it's not vastly different from full band electric I really love how prominent Jeff's awesome solo at the end is. I wish the bonus disc had been various 2014 performances and we could have gotten some Bela Fleck tracks on there.

At the end of the day this just reminds me how grateful I am for tapers and guys like Tom/Rockinman who are still out there bringing us all the tracks we otherwise might never hear.

There are definitely better choices, but I'm still buying this just to give it a listen.

But the potential of the DVD isn't even being realized. No mention of 5.1 this time around like last time (not to say there won't be) but pretty poor bitrate if you're putting a full show on a single DVD.

Compare to CP or Piedmont, spread over 2 DVDs = lossless stereo PCM and as far as DVD goes, decent PQ. You'd almost expect to put it on a groan as you discover it's not even anamorphic!

Blu-ray is in well over 2/3rds of homes though and manufacturing is super cheap compared to where it was when D+T came out, I'm grateful to see video still being embraced but come on...the formats been out for EIGHT YEARS. Peter Gabriel has 4 Blu-rays out, Rolling Stones have something like 8 or 9, AC/DC have 4...

...what's up with DMB and Pearl Jam having no concerts out on Blu-ray?

Because of all the acoustic sets they played they picked one of the most lackluster acoustic sets. I usually can see the positive in most releases and get excited, but this really is not a great looking show on paper. I mean this is a really odd choice. I thought the benefit of Live Trax releases were to cater more to more die hard fans. Maybe not anymore? Maybe they're done releasing live releases to stores and are just going with Live Trax from here on out. Oh well. We have 32 Live Trax releases now and plenty more on the way, so maybe we don't need to get to worked up about it. There's plenty of music to listen to.

An option to download a 720p HD version of the DVD wouldn't go amiss.

I have listened to these tapes from this summer and the lovely ladies were used on too many songs that turned into just pure disaster! maybe they will be mixed better on this release but it didn't fit from what I heard. Also, weakest show of the weekend and one of the weakest of the tour, again I don't know who selects these but they are for the most part horrible! I would like to see the sales figures for each of these as LT1-LT11 are really solid, then its one good two bad one good two bad but since 20 its all been downhill. I enjoyed 28 as it sounded great and the band was pretty tight playing at home in one of their last shows and we got a DVD but the others, the mixes are bad the set lists are weak its like DMB doesn't want its fans to have fun.

I guess this show was always in the pipeline to be released, didn’t they have a full scale production team there and not just big screen camera operators?

Is it a good idea if they let Warehouse members vote for which shows to be released every year? Or will you just get people vote for the shows in which they attended?

they should just do what phish or pearl jam or Springsteen or the dead or any modern touring band does and release all shows to all fans, phish you get a free download of the show with your ticket! DMB is stuck in the early 90's management wise, I don't get it. Did they forget that its about the music and the fans?

Good idea but no matter which shows are released there will always be threads about why people love/hate the choice by management

Ya and you were right behind me, soooo if you on their I will be too.

A lot of bitching out there from East Coast folks.. While it was not best set of weekend ( I liked N3 lots) it's cool to get a DVD release from a show I've attended.
