We just thought it was really random and funny!"

Remember, Samurai cop has already made at least one TV appearance on PBS a few months ago, so it's in the pool of media-friendly-picks I guess.

Probably would've wanted to play something newer too, had this been back in '95 they'd probably bust out Too Much, Billies, or Ants.

If I had to choose a newer song that could be preformed in that type of setting, I'd probably go for Bismark. But that's just me.

Dave is a genuine person, and he gave a hilarious interview. So much more interesting and honest than 90% of other celebrities you see on late night TV. Colbert could have done a better job. He still seems shaken up after the hot water he got in over the 'cock holster' comment.

I actually re-watched when colbert busted out the wine to see if Dave drank any because, in my mind, he's been completely sober since early 2000's when he came out and basically said he was an alcoholic and was quitting drinking (Rolling Stones article I think?), which explained a lot of the differences in the music to me. Now I'm opening my eyes and realizing I duped myself!

yeah dave has openly talked in interviews about whiskey and wine many times in recent years. He definitely still drinks to some degree.
