got my iPhone6 today (space grey/64gb). ordered it online two weeks ago, thought it would take longer to ship, but glad it came early. Stayed with At&t, kept my unlimited data (i know people like to know these things in here).

Ok. A few days in with the regular six and it's awkward as fuck.

It's beautiful, and fast as hell. The time it takes Hipstamatic "processing" a photo on my 5 was about 60 seconds before it showed up in camera roll. The 6 does it immediately.

But it's so damn big and unwieldy that I feel like I'm going to drop it. You'd think that bigger would mean easier to hold on to but it's not.

I will say, that they are clearly made for professional athletes or people with monster hands.

I found that the learning curve for usage considering the size wasn't as long as I thought it was going to be.

Using the phone with both hands isn't really cumbersome at all.

i woke up at 6 am today and have used it quite a bit since then. Still at 90%

#blessed my 5s would be dead by now.

Battery life alone is worth it

Do yall or dont yall use portrait orientation lock?

I never did for my other ones but this one seems to turn itself sideways a lot which is annoying

I never have... the landscape scroll on the homescreens is exclusive to the 6+ because the size of the screen.

I like that it switches on the homescreens when I turn it sideways, makes it much easier.

Grabbed a screen protector for my plus yesterday. I highly recommend it.

Browsing in portrait is the only acceptable way, and I agree, a screen protector is an absolute must.

I picked mine up at the Apple Store on Black Friday. They can be a real pain in the ass to apply, and in my opinion takes away from the lustre and allure of the screen (if you get an anti-glare one that is), but the fact that the screen isn't gorilla glass necessitates it.

I've had my phone for just over two weeks and already have a couple of very very shallow, but still noticeable in the right light, scratches.

I had a couple light scratches they were able to get buffed out. The guy at the Verizon store put the protector on for me.

My 4 had no scratches and I never had a protector.

The one I got was pretty simple to apply, but still a bitch to get oriented just right considering the light sensors/ear speaker, and home button.

It's actually one of the nicer ones I can remember getting. All you needed to do was wipe the phone clean with a lint free cloth, then use the sticker they give you to take off any remaining particles from the screen, then apply the protector.

The annoying part is that the protector was so static-ey that it caught, and you can see, a couple of tiny tiny pieces of dust in between it and the screen when it's at it's brightest.

Yeah it didn't look hard to apply at all but he offered so I figured why not. He definitely spent a good amount of time cleaning my screen though.

I have to type in landscape if I'm going to use two hands.
