I do agree that it should win Best Album, but it probably won't.

But Norah Jones isn't half the writer Swift is. She didn't even pen her biggest song. Her 3rd album that dropped a year or two ago was the first in which she wrote or co-wrote all the songs. Simply put, she's just not the songwriter Swift is who had a publishing deal before she had a recording deal before the age of 16. I think Norah still is a great artist but she just can't sell like Swift. Swift can reach everyone. She's got the country people, the pop people, the guys, the girls, adults, kids, moms, her peers. There's a reason she's one of the few (only?) people still selling albums like it's the 90's.
Personally I never thought Norah Jones would run away with the star-power for that long. Her style of music ultimately just isn't as accessible enough. She's still just a little more lounge-driven. I respect her and enjoy her music, but I wasn't surprised by her inability to create the same kind of success again. But she still might at some point again get some mass-spotlight action back. And it's not as if she's been wholly unsuccessful since her debut either. She's still sold a lot of albums.
Oh, and DMB at 777,000. U2 at 900,000something...
Taylor Swift is 3,500,000+ and still charting strong.
