Youth and Young Manhood is an absolutely excellent album. I bought Aha Shake back when it came out and was disappointed. Got out of Kings for a while. I guess I gotta go back and listen again.

I finally went out and picked up Only By The Night a couple weeks back and I'm pretty blown away.

Really? I much prefer old KOL to newer KOL, but over all they are great.

    I do too.

I'd still say YYM is their best. Aha Shake though is so much more mellow than YYM is. I never got into it.

OBTN has gotten me back into them, so I'll probably give Aha another shot. Really don't know anything about Because of the Times.

Aha is probably my favorite one. Because of the times is great too and so is YYM. OBTN is subpar compared to those 3..its still goood though which says alot about the band

Re: Kings of Leon Appreciation Thread

I got to see the guys live a few weeks ago. I was in an arena in Sydney, the biggest shows they've played in Australia yet. The night went a little like this:

    # Crawl
    # Taper Jean Girl
    # My Party
    # King Of The Rodeo
    # California Waiting
    # Molly's Chambers
    # Fans
    # Revelry
    # Milk
    # Four Kicks
    # Wasted Time
    # The Bucket
    # Sex On Fire
    # Notion
    # On Call
    # Use Somebody
    # Red Morning Light
    # Slow Night, So Long
    # Encore:
    # Knocked Up
    # Manhattan
    # Charmer
    # Black Thumbnail

It was a great night. I was really disappointed not to get Closer, as that is my favourite off OBTN, but otherwise they were a great live band.

Same here. They are my top three bands right now. Saw KOL Saturday in Philly. They put on a great show.

Just got my tickets for the show at Red Rocks in August.. I am pumped. Really wanted to see KOL, since they apparently hate touring, and at Red Rocks just makes it that much better. Man I am excited.
