If they're in a band as good as U2, sure. Remember that Edge's guitar work is complemented by Bono's vocals, Larry's drumming and Adam's bass work.

So did Hendrix's. What of it?

And you'd only say that if you haven't heard a wide variety of U2.

I have War, Rattle & Hum, Joshua Tree, Achtung, and select songs from Zooropa, Pop, and ATYCLB.

While I'm not a hardcore fan by any means, I think I can say I've heard a wide variety of their work.

So...you dont think he uses a delay pedal on at least half of their songs?

And I'm not a huge huge fan of Hendrix (before someone stabs me - I really appreciate what he can do and I love a great deal of his stuff, he just isn't one of my personal favorites).

Either I played the shit out of it (which I certain did) after it came out or it hasn't stayed with me because I rarely listen to it completely anymore.

Some of these B-sides can already be found on the double CD, Best of U2 1980-1990....But they were smart to add few additonal new songs for the die-hard fan...I'm on the fence whether I will pcik this up...I guess it depends on how good those newly released songs are...

I need a new copy of this album... it left my collection when I left a girlfriend... and it wasn't worth going back for..

So, I've been waiting for a quality re-issue for a while.

Girls always end up with your albums after a break-up...I don't know why this is often the case...

I know.... its always a drag.

An ex from about 2 years ago, recently stopped by my apartment and dropped off a DVD she'd had... That was nice of her.

I often wonder what girls do with things (gifts, things left, clothes) that ends up at their place... I had a girlfriend who kept a favorite pair of boxers of mine... i always wondered what became of them.

I also like to give girls gifts that are hand made... because they seem super sweet and amazing at the time... then when we break up, they realize its really just a bunch of popsicle sticks and glue...

My girlfriend once told someone "We've been dating for years... he just didn't acknowledge it until recently" when we first started dating.

    It creeped me out.

Hooking up does not equal dating.

I wouldn't let anyone, let alone my girlfriend, take posession of my U2 collection for any reason whatsoever. It is sacred to me.

    Joshua Tree Demo Revealed
The remastered Joshua Tree features several unreleased demos from The Joshua Tree Sessions. Bono recently added new vocals to one of them, 'Wave of Sorrow’, and this week talked about the inspiration for the song. Watch our exclusive video.

Interviewed in New York, Bono explains that Wave of Sorrow ‘was one of the songs from the Joshua Tree sessions that we never finished… a song that was trying to describe experiences that myself and Ali had when we were working in Ethiopia during the famine.’

The track is one of several rare and previously unreleased cuts which feature on the bonus audio CD, which comes with the deluxe edition of the re-released album.

    Watch the clip below

Interesting to see Bono outside the lights of cameras and all that. He seems almost shy. Still, he wears the glasses though.

I saw that yesterday. The song sounds great. I'm especially excited about that Red Hill Mining Town video. I've already pre-ordered the deluxe version from Amazon.

Well they've got two albums in the works right now so it's very likely they could be touring as soon as next year.

I actually got a good laugh out of a crowd reaction to Bono I saw somewhere. The place was quiet and Bono was on one of his political rants. Then he started clapping his hands in a beat type thing and said 'Everytime I clap my hands a child in Africa dies.' Some guy in the audience screamed out 'Well stop fucking clapping then!' It was funny, even Bono cracked a smile out of it.

Awesome! I really hope this means a re-working of Pop. That album could have been so much better.

I knew I should've just bought the Joshua Tree set now instead of asking for it for Christmas. I don't think I can stand waiting until then.
