Indeed. I'd also throw XI on the table as worse.
Battleground wasn't very good, but the tag match was excellent, Owens/styles was good other than the weird ending (but you had to expect something screwy to keep it going until SS), Corbin/shin shoe was decent and again I was expecting a screwy finish, preshow match was solid, flag match had "gimmick that takes away from what could be a good match" written all over it, and it delivered. And if you saw the first two Punjabi prison matches, you knew this was going to be terrible. And that's before an immobile hairless Sasquatch lumbers down to the ring. Battleground was nowhere near the unmitigated tragedy people want to pretend it was. If you want to see some really awful PPVs let's talk either preNWO early/mid 90s WCW or the dying days of WCW. You haven't seen mind numbing terrible until you've watched the coalition to end hulksmania in a doomsday cage.
