Either way, the line between what Livenation is doing and scalping is non-existent. I get that they aren't "reselling" the tickets but still, in my mind its the equivalent of scalping.

Although, I think I read that this is something that the artist controls, so basically management is scalping tickets?

The artist can control it - this one just doesn't care enough to make the effort. Management and LiveNation sign an agreement, so effectively they both are the scalpers.

I only saw pairs for SPAC, I guess it depends on the venue.
