Re: Which pokemon was best to start with

Found my first Johto starter in Totodile.

Speaking of Pokemon, I bought Y last week and finally played it. Just knocked off the 8th gym leader. I really enjoy the XY, Omega/Alpha and Sun/Moon series. Definitely think those are the three absolute best-run series. I'd love it if they remade Red/Blue and Gold/Silver for 3DS like those. People would definitely buy them.

a lot of the initial pokemon you encounter are easy to take out with water or fire pokemon, but a heavy hitter grass pokemon later on is somewhat hard to come by.

Was JUST walking the dogs and a guy and his kid were pulled over at the entrance of my alley and the kid had his phone pointed out the window. Was like, what the fuck are they doing? Then I thought of Pokemon, but assumed that fad was long over.

Then I see this thread topped. Ah. New releases.

    Yeah.

I had a legendary outside my hotel around the block this morning. But the new system makes it so you have to have like 10 or 15 people battling them with you so I said fuck it and opened another beer in bed.

Yea, game has definitely become more casual friendly, especially for those who just like to walk, hatch eggs and collect. I don't battle/raid as much, and those Pokemon that are available only in raids eventually are easier to attain through field research stuff. Game is definitely a lot of fun.
