Why would you say that? Peter isn't that great of a drummer. I strongly prefer Eric Singer and Eric Carr to him. I enjoyed the band more when those two were a part of it. As for Ace, some of his stuff is alright, but I believe that Bruce Kulick and Vinnie Vincent were more than adequate replacements. I think that's why I like Carnival of Souls so much, it was a Bruce Kulick album basically. He even played bass on a lot of it. KISS doesn't need the 4 original members to be together to be good. Paul & Gene are fine without the other two. However, Gene needs Paul in order to write good songs. Gene's solo stuff sucks, while Paul's latest album was great

& I agree about Hot in the Shade. It's an alright album, but nothing spectacular. You're right about Goin' Blind. That's one of my favorite songs by KISS. Got to Choose is another great song from HTH.
