Re: Your 2017 Concerts

Saw Paul Simon last night. For a 75-year-old, dude still puts on a hell of a show.

15 bucks for a ticket. Why not show BT and these guys some love on a sunday night in Raleigh at The Pour House.
My thoughts exactly, I love the venue they are playing in Nashville and with the cheap price it is the right thing to do on a Wednesday

Man it's amazing what moving to a big city can do for your concert life. Just moved to the bay area in Cali and and all the sudden I have this on my lineup:

    - John Mayer - Shoreline 7/29
    - Kendrick Lamar - Oakland 8/4
    - Kings of Leon - Shoreline 8/24
    - Coldplay - San Fran 10/4

    Levitate last night and tonight

Looks like my summer concert season has rapidly come to a close, but it's to be expected with an 8-month-old at home.

It was good. Not a big metal guy but I couldn't turn down a chance to see Metallica. Got the songs I wanted to hear most, so I left happy. It was hot, go figure, Florida.

I'm no Tallica diehard but I'd really like to seem them sometime soon. Don't come to NC much. May have to make a trip while they're still kicking ass. Ended up skipping out on Crystal Garden Raleigh show last night after a friend bailed.

Need Ryan Adams to play a Saturday night show because that night at the festival does very little for me.

Just finished Paul McCartney and Roger Waters on back to back nights in the same arena. Two VERY different shows, but both were wildly entertaining.

Saw him two weeks ago. It was so damn good and I thoroughly enjoyed the banter throughout the show.

I've never seen GD so I thought why not knock it out. Love their old. Haven't paid much attention to their most recent albums but liked some of the American Idiot stuff more than others. I think Jesus of Suburbia is a really tune how it's like 4 or 5 songs in 1.

Really pumped for my trip to Denver to see an old high school buddy. Have always wanted to see Oasis/Liam/Noel so I'm really pumped to see Liam in a small venue while he is kicking ass with the vocals again. New tunes sound great.

I don't b/c I just found out about it, but I was planning on Craigslist/Stubhub a few days before the show. I'll let you know if I grab one. Sac is too far for me...Shorelines like 10 mins from me.

Anyone seen Herbie Hancock live recently? He's playing at one of the casinos not too far from me and I was thinking about hitting it up. Figured that could be a fun night.

These guys were great. Friend got me into the show unexpectedly and I went in cold not ever having listened to them before. Just knew it was the dude from The Gourds. Never listened to them either. If you really enjoy Nathanial Rateliff's throwback sound, you should check them out. A little bit more funk.

Just Gov't Mule w/s/g Galactic this summer.

I live in the South now and outdoor concerts suck in the summer, even in the evening, so this is it for me. I also work 50-60hrs on an average week, so there's that.

That was a pretty good show. Kevin Russell is nothing if not entertaining.

Another great Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers show in Baltimore last night. Great seeing Swingin and You got Lucky for the first time. That run of Wildflowerd tunes makes me want a Wildflowers theater tour.
