It really is. I also just picked up copies of a bunch of WH discs and other bonus discs (I'm still a CD guy) so I have some good listening ahead.

It's decent. Love the ADSR, Nancies and Crush. A lot of it's messy (Butch ruins the Ants intro) and has all the problems that 2007 had (boring Roi, Butch, Rashawn, and the extreme slowdown in Too Much). That IIHIA gets a lot of love, and it's good, but I like the 06 one from the WH disc a lot more. The Shotgun might take a few listens to get into, as can be the case with that song.

I really like Shotgun. Yesterday I listened to an 07 version for the first time (2007 Tour Sampler) and I was surprised to hear the butch part . I guess I've really only listened to the Hershey 2012 version that Copperpot has on YouTube

I love Shotgun as well. That 8/26/07 one is one of my favorites for sure.
Alpine '12 is an underrated one. I think 9/23/06 will always be my favorite... the first couple ones in 06 were very interesting, especially the one with the Butch intro which I think is 6/23/06.

Heading to Tinley tonight for the first time in a very very long time for the Incubus, JEW, Judah show. Can't wait to hear (not hear) how the sound is there, after all these years.

Highlights for me would be Crush, Loving Wings and IIHIA.

The vinyl should arrive early next week. I'd love for someone to rip it for me also.

Fonz intro was cool, really would have liked to have heard him explore it a little more before starting up...but...well, this is DMB not Phish, his 30 seconds were up. Time get the ladies swooning!

I guess. I was ok with the length. He's gotten so much better with his intros over the years. A lot of his early Crush and Watchtower solos were wankfests.

Not disagreeing, rather I agree with what you're saying here in general. This little one struck me tho and got my attention, which I wasn't expecting listening to a 2007 version.

First thing I thought about for the write-in was the Thriller Jam into Watchtower with Robert Randolph 6.13.05.

Side note, threw on 7.7.12 while i built some dressers today, this might be my favorite show I've ever attended.... was with some close friends too which may have helped, but man the vibes were right at alpine that summer even if it was hotter than hell.

Waiting for mine to arrive, then will definitely not slowly vinyl rip cuz that would be illegal.

I'm interested to see if they release it digitally. Heck, they should do a 25th anniversary box set. Do the DMB Live 25 compilation, and the 25th Anniversary CVille show on CD/Blu Ray. So 6 discs of audio and the blu ray. We can still get the music and they can charge a higher price than a normal album. Win win.
