Or maybe he is, because it's good PR. He's certainly not going to say anything wishywashy about the album. He's going to say BTCS is the best album he made, because it's the last one he made. He's going to say this album will be better than that, because if it's not, who's going to buy it?

You're trying to make a non-story a story. And, it's not like we need people saying "DMB has risen" when the album hasn't even came out yet.

who's going to buy the album if steve lillywhite doesn't answer one question on twitter? the same million people that will buy it no matter what.. If you haven't noticed from attending shows, there are probably 25X more people not on ants or checking steve lillywhite than are.. the majority of dmb fans do not go on fan sites and do not know about release dates or anything until they get news from dmband.com

all comments regarding previous albums were made in very professional setting with cameras and reporters and such.. in essence, the previous hype was made to be hype. lillywhite is not being asked to hype this album. He's probably getting paid a fat ass flat rate. I doubt his financial benefit really matters much on sales. Unless it goes like 20X platinum, which if it does, will have nothing to do with any hype.
