Maybe I missed it but where does it say that only one bullet was shot?

The below quote was all I saw and it refers to one rifle but I didn't see anything about how many times or rounds were fired.

I think it would be pretty fucked up at the age of 23 to shoot and kill three younger people, two of them minors. Not that it seemed he had much choice.

Also, pretty odd that they "exchanged words" or whatever inside the house. Like, what could those three have been thinking? They were in no position to negotiate. Hell, the 23 year old didn't even need to say anything. I think Mr. AR-15 says it all once you see it.
