It's really time to get back into this. I've been so inconsistent, for a long time now. I actually haven't run all summer.

I'm about ready to drop 25 at least. Need the motivation.

Ran my first race in May, a 4 mile run and running my first 5k in a couple of weeks. Glad this race is in September and won't be (hopefully) as hot as the run in May.

starting to run trails more and pavement less. It's been a fantastic transition.

Looking forward to getting back into running come spring in new york. Getting sick of working out indoors and being limited when it comes to physical activity.

hope some of you are taking advantage of the awesome weather we've had recently!!

it's starting to feel like i may be getting shin splints... not sure why i would be getting them. i haven't really increased the intensity/duration of my runs significantly. last week i ran an extra mile on a couple of my runs... maybe i just need a break

i really hate not running

no rest days?

i don't really have rest days, i get too antsy and i have so much energy i need to let out...

so i try to have a shorter/easier run once in a while.

I know what you mean, if I'm really not feeling up to run I won't, but I always feel like going on at least a 3/4 mile run.

You should do the TC 10! It's a great course. Lots of fun.

I'm going to sign up for the Get in Gear, it's April 30th. I'm only going to do the 10K (6 miles or so).

I've been getting back into the swing of things lately. Running 3 days a week, usually 3.5-5.0 miles each time.

It looks like the TC 10 is in October? I'll defiantly consider that once it starts to get a bit closer. I think I want to do the Twin Cities half marathon in July.

I loathe running in the winter, so I had been doing interval training for the past couple months. I hadn't run more than a mile at once at a consistent speed, but got talked into running the Polar Plunge 5k around Lake Calhoun a week and a half ago, and have been running again ever since. I ran four miles over lunch today ... it was so gorgeous outside!
