Re: Your thoughts on #35...

I cannot believe the spoiled brats in this thread. You should thank your damn stars there's ANYTHING at the end of the album. Roi is dead. He's not coming back. I don't care if it's a recording of him cleaning out his ******** SPIT VALVE. You all need to put a sock in it and appreciate what you've got.

    Re: Your thoughts on #35...

This thread equals the pure negativity that is the online fan base. It's a 45 second cut of a 5 second loop, which is apparently the last thing Roi recorded. Who cares? It's on the damn album and nothing's going to change that. This is stupid banter.

I don't hear people complaining about the dog whistle at the end of Sgt. Peppers.

    Re: Your thoughts on #35...

it's a good end. not a song unto itself, just a little "jamlet." It's exactly what it should be. I know there are those of you that want full-fledged jams, but save it for the inevitable box set that's sure to come in the next 5-10 years. You just got a new album that is miles better than anything else the whole band has put out this decade [with the exception of "You Never Know"]. While I think Whiskey could use a few tweaks here and there, as a stated in a previous thread about doing the album differently, #35 is a good and appropriate end. I would have loved a full blown jam with LeRoi as the centerpiece, but that wouldn't have endcapped the record as nicely.

I think if the sentiment was to simply end with some more Roi, it could have been better, but that's alright. We don't have to listen to it.

I don't care too much for #35. If anything, make a medley of LeRoi noodles and tack it on at the end.

I have a feeling it might have been the last thing LeRoi recorded in the studio.

i will admit that the first time i heard it i felt...shortchanged? but given the fact that it clearly has some sentimental meaning to the band i will say that i like it. its not bad, just kind of boring.
