I read that show is expected to have somewhere around 100,000 attendees. That's unreal. How does a band of 70 year olds who have been on the circuit for 50+ years draw a crowd that large. That's the definition of living legends.

Grabbed the Sticky Fingers Live release from iTunes last night, looking forward to listening while I drive this weekend.

Really wish I could be there. Blew my wad on Firefly Music Festival a few weeks back. Not that I regret it. I just wish I could swing both.

Let us know how that is - is there anywhere to get it other than itunes?

Sticky Fingers live is actually really good. Mick sounds great, and the performances are real good. Moonlight Mile and Dead Flowers were highlights for me. You Gotta Move is easily one of the most underrated tracks (sounds awesome on this release too).

The venue set up can hold up 100,000. The president of IMS has said they are expecting 50,000 - 55,000. The weather is looking fantastic, so I am sure they will have plenty of walk ups. I cant wait for this show.

Here is a picture of the setup for Saturday. This is the first of what the IMS plans to be many concerts going forward. This is the first big act that they have been able to secure, so I will be interested on how the design is welcomed.

Also, I just can not understand why Rascal Flatts was added to the bill. They played at Deer Creek on May 30th. I would be very surprised if Rascal Flatts added any people. There had to of been plenty of other choices.

Yeah they sold tickets in 3 sections gold silver and bronze. You can kind of see the barriers in that picture.

Holy crap these guys were incredible last night. I was REALLY far away, unfortunately, but it was still one of the coolest things I've ever seen. I can't imagine what it would have been like sitting close. It was my first (and probably last) Stones show and it was above and beyond what I was expecting.

Mick Jagger might be coolest guy ever.

Exactly how I felt. I still haven't come down from my show and it was almost three weeks ago. I've been listening to them nonstop and ordering more of their records. Their Vault releases are superb, definitely worth grabbing if you don't have any of them.

Been reading Keith's autobiography. I like him more than I expected. He actually doesn't seem like a total prick. He seems to be about as normal as you can expect someone to be in one of the most legendary rock bands ever.

^ yeah I've been on a high ever since the show Saturday night...I knew it'd be awesome, but I was just completely floored by the whole experience. I want to read Keith's autobiography, too.

This may have been posted in this thread before, but this Onion article is pretty hilarious:

Really hoping I can grab a ticket for Jazz Fest tomorrow for the online drop. Have a feeling it's going to be "sold out before they even go on sale" type situation.

Anyone know what time they go onstage? The Charlotte show says 7:30 on the ticket. I assume there's an opener.

There's no info of openers which is odd too. I wonder if they're gonna come out at 8:15 or so and play till 10:30
