So damn great either way, there are youtube videos out there of some famous scenes from that comic with people using his Joker voice and it sounds great. I can't wait to hear/see the real thing.
well I know now I'm not crazy (for this reason anyway

technically that was saying he definitely was doing the part, way back then.

He was absolutely perfect for that role. I love that his voice is creepy enough as it already is.

Yeah, while not technically official from him, the source confirmed for that writer that he has the part.

So CBS releases it's list of renewals but Supergirl isn't listed, even though reports not long ago said it would be back. Wonder what the heck is going on with them. Last week's episode was MUCH better than almost anything so far this season. Maybe they are finally getting it together.

I'm going to watch the Flash crossover. If I like it I may check out the rest of the show.

Wouldn't read anything into that. Someone said that all the shows on that list have been on CBS for more than a season and then there was the fact that the head of CBS said 2 weeks ago they were renewing 5 new shows

I'm sure Supergirl will be renewed, I don't watch it but I hear it's popular and CBS advertises the hell out of it

Last night's Supergirl episode was good. Disappointing that she is in a different universe from The Flash but I guess it keeps them separate but can still bring them back together.

I have the entire season of Supergirl on my DVR. Watched the first one, haven't gone back. May revisit in the summer once everything else is on hiatus.

If I got behind on shows, it was the one I'd delete/skip but the last few weeks have been much better. The last couple have been much more Flash-ish in that they are hinting at things that make you want to come back and see where it goes. The early episodes were not doing that.

I really enjoyed the Supergirl/Flash crossover. It was really well done.

All the name mentions were funny. Cat calling Flash "The Blur" (nice Smallville shoutout) and Lucy calling him "Speedy" (nice Arrow shoutout).

Sucks that they had Flash as being from a different Earth, even though it does make sense since they're from separate networks. Though I would love to see an on screen TV Justice League.

The race at the end was cool - reminds me of a race in the comics between Flash and Superman.

Love the mentions of "infinite Earths", I hope this leads to Crisis.

Probably one of the best episodes of the season.

I HATED the crossover. I needed to fucking brush my teeth right after. It was all fucking lollipops and candy drops and bad acting.

Granted, I have never seen an episode of Supergirl before. However, I have seen all the Flash episodes. Flash, being cheesy and bubbly at times, still has some backbone to it and has actual personal drama. I did not feel that way for Supergirl.

That's kinda how Supergirl is. It's more positive and uplifting.

That part doesn't really bother me. Comics used to be that way and have turned dark the last few decades which I'm totally fine with cause I liked it but I'm ok with something staying in the positive/cheeky side of things. My problem with the show was the story was leaving much to be desired but I've said the last few weeks are finally getting better.

Looks like some preview footage and stills is out for Killing Joke.

It's extensively spoilery, but if you've read the comic you know what to expect

Two new dates were added to the DC slate. Looks like in 2018 and 2019, there will be three DC movies in those years. They moved WW to 6/2/17 instead of 6/23/17 which is when Transformers is opening.

    http://batman-news.com/2016/04/06/wo...release-dates/

I am going to guess that the 2018 date will be for Batman, but not sure what 2019 will be.

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice – March 25, 2016
    Suicide Squad – August 5, 2016
    Wonder Woman – June 2, 2017
Justice League Part One – November 17, 2017
    The Flash – March 16, 2018
    Aquaman – July 27, 2018
    Untitled Movie – October 5, 2018
    Shazam – April 5, 2019
Justice League Part Two – June 14, 2019
    Untitled Movie – November 1, 2019
    Cyborg – April 3, 2020
    Green Lantern – June 19, 2020

It's saying Warner Brothers as a production company will be making fewer films, which means inevitably they'll be making fewer DC films.

Until they come out and change their slate, we don't know that they will be making fewer DC films. They could decide to cut films in other areas, probably shouldn't give anymore money to the Wachowski's, but it's all speculation at this point.

I mean Disney decided they were going to make fewer films too a while ago. It happens.

Unfortunately it meant no sequel to Tron

So we get stupid Pirates 5 but no Tron sequel.

Yeah unfortunately it just did not make the money it needed to make.

The soundtrack is phenomenal as well. I seem to always throw it on while flying.

The soundtrack is phenomenal as well. I seem to always throw it on while flying.
Yeah, Daft Punk was perfect for that. I am not sure if you follow the director, Joseph Kosinski, but he did Oblivion with Cruise, a movie, which I was pleasantly surprised with and only saw it because of Kosinski. Anyways, he had M-83 do the soundtrack for that one and it's great as well, similar tone as the Tron soundtrack. If you haven't checked that soundtrack out, make sure to give it a listen.
