He definitely lost some weight. He's still hefty but doesn't have a male fupa anymore.

watched the 45 minute clip filled episode last night - man, that final montage set to Green Day's "Good Riddance" gave me all the feels. I had goosebumps and watery eyes pretty much the entire time. Also, I would LOVE to see more outtakes footage. They only show about 4-5 minutes on that episode, but they are absolutely hilarious. I can't even imagine how many hilarious outtakes they probably have.

edit: Just found a bunch of YouTube videos of outtakes. there goes my work productivity.

FRANK: Let me understand, you got the hen, the chicken and the rooster. The rooster goes with the chicken. So, who's having sex with the hen?
GEORGE: Why don't we talk about it another time.
FRANK: But you see my point here? You only hear of a hen, a rooster and a chicken. Something's missing!
MRS. ROSS: Something's missing all right.
MR. ROSS: They're all chickens. The rooster has sex with all of them.
    FRANK: That's perverse.

haha just watched, that's crazy. I mean who could blame them for cracking up all the time, he's so damn hilarious.

It is interesting though - I was reading online that he said in an interview in like 2012 that maybe he didn't enjoy himself as much as he could have on set, and obviously we all know about his racist tirade back in 2006. it seems pretty clear that he is/was probably the biggest asshole of all them.

I love that whole spiel Bookman goes on.

"Well, let me tell you something, funny boy. Y'know that little stamp,
the one that says "New York Public Library"? Well that may not mean
anything to you, but that means a lot to me. One whole hell of a lot.
Sure, go ahead, laugh if you want to. I've seen your type before:
Flashy, making the scene, flaunting convention. Yeah, I know what you're
thinking. What's this guy making such a big stink about old library
books? Well, let me give you a hint, junior. Maybe we can live without
libraries, people like you and me. Maybe. Sure, we're too old to change
the world, but what about that kid, sitting down, opening a book, right
now, in a branch at the local library and finding drawings of pee-pees
and wee-wees on the Cat in the Hat and the Five Chinese Brothers?
Doesn't HE deserve better? Look. If you think this is about overdue
fines and missing books, you'd better think again. This is about that
kid's right to read a book without getting his mind warped! Or: maybe
that turns you on, Seinfeld; maybe that's how y'get your kicks. You and
your good-time buddies. Well I got a flash for ya, joy-boy: Party time
is over. Y'got seven days, Seinfeld. That is one week!"

Well your Uncle Moe, he died a young man.

    Also internal problems.

It's that temper on your side. They're yelling and yelling, and then one day, they're all gone.

What about your side? Your cousin Hennie. (animated) She was sickly from the moment I met her!

    Don't you talk about Hennie!

Anyone following or paying attention to the post show Jerry Seinfeld? I've been hearing more and more about him lately and, I have to say, that man seems to be on point about a lot of stuff.

Also, the fact that he can do what he does without swearing is just beyond believable if you really think about it. He's def a celeb I'd like to have an hour long conversation with.

This is a really great point. So many celebs, especially comedians (I'm looking at you Schumer) just resort to crass and explicit material to get a laugh. It's interesting to see an artist have some well thought out material that is smart and funny and avoid the cheap laughs or vulgarity for vulgarity's sake.

In my experience most comedians have multiple acts, one for all ages and others for 18 and over.

Jim Jeffries does a great bit on that. About how clean and upstanding Bill Cosby is.

In addition to that, his show still stands up. I mean, obviously some episodes are dated by technology but the emotions, actions, and reactions of the characters absolutely stand up today.

For example, the episode where George goes out with Jerry and the tennis lineswoman is fucking hilarious. And, even 20 years later, it's still something that could happen.

I need to do a rewatch of the series. The whole show was/is fantastic and, as you mentioned, artful/skillful.

I don't know. I'm not sure I'd like a clean Bill Burr or Jim Jeffries*.
