"Sometimes played with lyrics, sometimes without, this song has only been played as an outro to Jimi Thing at acoustic shows (full band 1994 and 1995, only Dave & Tim since)."

Honestly I'd love an outro-less Jimi more than anything else. Wish they'd try playing it like the album version every once in a while.

I enjoyed sexy mofo the first few times I heard it but the novelty soon wore out. I know im in the minority but I always enjoyed the different scats. Always got the energy up and put a smile on my face. I do wish Dave would go back to soloing though like in the Golden Gate LT. love that little guitar jam

Live Trax 5 Jimi is a perfect example of how it should be played, Central Park is right up there too. The sexy mofo outro is just kinda akward.

FWIW at the Gorge this last year was great, especially since the previous 8 or 9 Jimi's I heard were all Sexy MF. I don't know why it's so hard for him to mix it up, though I'm sure it has something to do with every girl in the crowd goin nuts for Sexy MF.
