IF DMB were to play Dicks I would take it over Pepsi Center and Red Rocks.....and the Gorge. Why? Outdoor venue trumps pepsi center. Too hard to get tickets to red rocks. Don't have to spend a crap ton of money to go see a show at the gorge.

You said Phish at Dicks would be just as grand as The Gorge weekend, so I responded back that the venue is a dump which is plotted in the middle of commerce city. My opinion, been to both many times. Maybe you love Phish the place is still a dump. I willl agree often outdoors is still better, but for sound Pepsi would still edge it out. Sorry just as grand sounds like equal to me.

Just as grand - you ever heard of the saying "have a grand old time?" I don't think he was comparing venues, which is what you're doing.

Is anything scheduled at Red Rocks for Sept. 10/11? If not, I'd say (hopefully) we could get a release there considering the distance from Cali to Colorado.... Just looked.. nothing going on from the 8th to the 14th.. will it happen?!?!?!

Yep, my point had nothing to do with venues but that I could have just as good of a time at the Phish concert as I could at the Dave Matthews Band concert the same weekend.

Whatever though I don't need to internet argue.
