Chad, please add me to the list! I have to work and am unsure about making it to a store in time.

Is there ever a way to find out what stores will have copies of this? I would hate to wait in line to only find out they don't have any. Also, do we think this will be release via the DMB webstores at some point?

Depends on the store, some will tell you what they have, some won't. My store makes a video the night before and tells people what they got in.

I've called my store and had people who wouldn't tell me because it "defeats the purpose of RSD" so I called during a different shift and got someone to tell me. They are usually less inclined to tell you exactly how many they got in stock but I can usually get a ballpark number.

Best way is to ask someone at your local shop. Since I'm a "regular" the owner and other employees are generally loose with the information to me. They just received 3 copies in of RR from one of their orders, and have confirmation of fulfillment for 4 through another.

Is it Warehouse release, or is this going to be a wider retail release similar to R2T, UTTAD, and Crash? Doby noted this is a Sony Legacy release, so I'd assume a wider distribution

It probably won't be a Warehouse only release, I should have just said "black vinyl release". I'm just used to saying Warehouse release for these things. But yeah, like Doby said, it'll probably be distributed like R2T/UTTAD/Crash if I had to assume.

For UrsadonDMB specifically or any Nashville ants. I'm relatively new to Nashville. Is there any general time you'd advise on heading to Grimey's ? I'm not dying for the release so bad I'd camp out for it but I live really close by so I figured I'd at least go see if I could grab a copy.

It'd be nice if the powers that be in charge of RSD and the distributors provided some data on title request distributions and fill rates.

It's odd too, because this store is in a pretty small town in western Michigan, so it isn't like this is a big city store. Wonder how the distributors pick/choose their allocations

This will be my first record store day that I participate in, in Nashville. Heard rumors that people line up at noon the day before...going to ask around more this week. Stay tuned...

Just got word from my local store that they are limiting customers to one copy per title on Saturday. Hopefully I can get a copy on Saturday and then my plan is to go back on Sunday and buy more if they have any left.

Kind of, when it comes to emails. I don't think I've ever heard/seen news here that I didn't receive an email for from WH

Some people seem to get the emails earlier than I have, maybe an hour or so.. but to my knowledge I've never completely missed one.

There will be a regular release after RSD.

My store put out their list. They got at least one copy. I'll try to grab it but I'm also plan on "sleeping in" a little bit this year compared to years past. My store didn't get either of the two "rare" items I want so I'm not too concerned about being in line super early.

2500 copies should make this one pretty easy. Tons of the last one out there for about "face" and that was a 2000 pressing.

Definitely want one though and won't be able to make it Saturday so I'll be eBaying. For the hell of it add me to the list here please.

I'm actually intrigued about the gift download. It's probably going to be in the similar range of the CD/FLAC copy we already got, but can I dream that it too will be updated to 24-bit 48 kHz or better?
