DAVE MATTHEWS WROTE THOSE SONGS---DAVE MATTHEWS ALSO WROTE EVERYDAY AND STANDUP--- DAVE MATTHEWS WROTE BWGGK

Had lillywhite produced BWGGK..... Guess what? here comes the big surprise........ You would still have all these songs.. because DMB writes the songs not Steve Lillywhite
DMB writes them and then Lillywhite takes them and makes them 10x better than they ever would be without him

Which is why DMB hasn't released a great album since 1998.

Really? I think BWGGK is a pretty damn good album... If by 10x better you mean songs that only people listen to the live versions of bc the studio sucks compared to the live versions.. then I undestand

There is a reason why BWGGK sounds just as good on the album as they do live... It was THE BAND

If you think the live versions of the big three are better than the studio tracks in more than like 5% of cases, then you are just blatantly objectively IMO.

And no, BWGGK is good, not great.

I would say the majority of fans think Most of their songs are better live.. Thats why they have such a great reputation for being a live band

I would say the majority of DMB Fans have average taste in music, so this is mostly irrelevant.

If you honestly think this band was better in the studio with the first 3 than they were live... I think you must be on some serious weed when you listen to those albums

I'm a fan of DMB, and a much bigger fan of DMB + Lillywhite.

Looks like you'll have to live with me or say goodbye?

Of course there are going to be jams. Big Whiskey had jams on it. There will be jams on any given DMB/Lillywhite album because Dave Matthews Band jams out some songs. That's not to say that every song is going to be jammed out like BTCS practically is. That's all I'm saying - Lillywhite might do as many jams on a future album as Cavallo did on Big Whiskey. Hence why I said you should listen to some other Lillywhite albums because he does do other things. Things that could end up on a DMB album in the future. Assuming it were to ever happen. Don't be so short sighted and assume that another Lillywhite album is going to be like the 94-2000 albums.

By the way, you've proven you have a limited taste in music. So where do you come off saying the DMB fan base has an "average taste in music?"

So your posts before about how there might not be jams now with Lillywhite because they are a different band now looks completely retarded, as do you.

I don't know what "rocking" means - I suppose they mean something like tehr renehreygrgy!

I wonder if you'd be willing to (honestly) post your age, IQ, and academic / intellectual credentials?

Cool. IQ and approximate college ranking? If from a top 25 university, can you post your GPA and any honors scholarship you may have gotten?

No, all I said was Lillywhite doesn't always do jams in albums he produces and that you should listen to more of his albums other than the three (four) he produced with DMB. I also said that just because they had extended jams on the other albums doesn't mean it's going to happen now. That doesn't change the fact that there might not be these long jams on a future Lillywhite album.

To say that there will be no jams and every song will be three minutes is foolish at best. Hence why I said you're an idiot. Because you are.

Dave Matthews Band IS a different band then what they were 10 years ago. Can't you figure that out yet? Just because Lillywhite steps in doesn't mean things would be all that different.

No, I'm in my twenties and hold degrees in economics and philosophy from ivy league institutions. I do like to smoke weed on occasion, but not much more than a couple times a year.
