    Nice, 2step. I just downloaded and am on Last Stop. Sounds lovely so far and the crowd isn't quite as obnoxious as some of the other '99 tapes I've listened to.

    I gotta say, while the sound is pretty good, I feel like the bass is a little rolled off. While the tape of this (which sounds *excellent* btw) is a little bass heavy, it gives it this snarl and attack that's so great and kinda missing with this release. Comparing "For the Beauty of Wynona", I prefer the detail and sparkle of the official, but I miss the bite of the tape. Oh well, it's pretty good, but it could have been great.

    - the Jimi > WWBOM > PNP is so beautiful.

    - his voice on IBYU is perfect. like... An Another Thing on Some Devil perfect.

    - i find the bass to be more than enough. taper pulls almost always exaggerate bass, so if you're used to that with this show, get un-used to it.

    Yes, aside from my small complaint, wow do you lose a lot of detail with the tapers version vs. a soundboard.

    Yes indeed, a lot of unlearning will need to happen here, to be sure. In some ways this is like hearing a cover of one of your favorite songs. That said, I'd still like about 1/3 more bass though.
