This is not specifically trump related but since the guy who did it had a trump pin on his suit jacket I am throwing it out there mainly because it was funny as hell.

I am in the middle of a civil court matter (I did nothing wrong and just a witness) and I was in court at 9am today, hauling my ass halfway across CT to help a friend. The morons at that specific court only hold civil cases once a week and somehow they overbooked the docket. Right before the courts lunch break the judge (mid to late 30's - obviously pretty new) informs us all that there is no way they are going to be able to get through all the cases today and tells the gallery that unless you are there for a divorce case, something with potential criminal charges or for a fine over $1,000 that we will have to go back next week. He seemed apologetic about it and said they don't coordinate well among the judges - plus he had the clerk take our names so we would be called first next week. I was pretty annoyed and before I even get a chance to pick my stuff up off my lap some dude absolutely explodes on the judge.

This guy was the size of a small apartment with a rather large beard and was bulging out of his suit - good lord this guy made me look like an amateur in swearing. He hops to his feet and starts screaming at the top of his lungs - the whole place was dead silent because it was so unprecedented. He looks at the judge and yells something like (can't quote it obviously because I was so damn stunned) 'You stupid motherfucker, I just took the fucking day off work to drag my ass here, paid your fucking parking fees, listened to all these damn layers bullshit each other, listened to the complaining useless people [plaintiffs/defendants] bickering about who is the asshole in a given marriage for 3 fucking hours now. Can't you stupid cocksuckers do anything right, you cost me a full day of pay you son of a whore and you're going to pay for this one when I contact an attorney you stupid fuck' I was utterly stunned - despite my sharing similar feelings. -BOLDED PART INSERTED FOR CLARIFICATION.

The judge stands up and says something like 'Fine you want to stick around, well alright, I find you in contempt of this court and your fine is $2,000 - Marshals please place this man in custody' Dude doesn't know when to cut his losses and after he is cuffed he again starts screaming at the judge yelling something like 'Well fuck you then you little cuntrag bastard wasting my fucking tax dollars.' Judge says, 'OK - your fine is now $5,000 and you will be spending a night in jail and we will have a special hearing tomorrow.' Even as the Marshals are escorting him out in cuffs the guy has both middle fingers up at the judge.

I was literally stunned, wish I had a video of the whole thing because it was so uncalled for. The dude overreacted to the point where I was wondering if he had Tourette's - most of us just huffed or groaned a bit or rolled our eyes but this guy went off the deep end. Part of me sympathizes with how he felt but cursing out a judge is a stupid idea IMO - unless of course you are sentenced to life without parole where you can say what you damn well please since you are already screwed. I also think the judge overreacted a bit with his penalties, he could have just let the moron rant and held him in contempt but as a young judge I guess he was trying to make his mark so to speak. If I had a video of this I could charge ten bucks a watch and make out like a bandit the whole incident was so damn ridiculous and hilarious at the same time!

Meridan Superior, they have this little basement area for things like paternity, divorce, civil contempt, fines, child support, etc, etc but they only have that room in effect for civil matters on Wednesdays, it is probably used for real cases on other days. Place is a complete dump, the staff is worthless and they do not know what they are doing in general because there is no coordination. That said, I was actually happy to be in that shithole of a town today because that incident had me laughing almost to the NY border where I live.

Ah, yes, Family Court is a god-damn shitshow. When I worked in New Haven we had half our marshal presence on the one floor where Family was located due to the number of physical altercations. Thank God I worked upstairs in civil

Yeah, I can only imagine that about your marshals - no shock, some of those divorce people were swearing up a storm at each other - some even arguing loudly in the gallery. It truly is a shitshow though I am happy to have been there today because that may have been the best laugh I have gotten in months and I do not see my laughing ending anytime soon.

About the dumbest thing I can recall was someone trying to appeal their deferred criminal judgment and the judge responding that that would mean he would have to enter a judgment against her. It took a minute but the light bulb finally came on and she accepted the deferred judgment.

And I didn't see this, but someone came running out to get some deputies once as they were frantically trying to explain that a fight had broken out in small claims court. Small claims court is usually a circus but I've never seen it come to blows.

Walked out of work yesterday and my right-rear tire was flat as fuckkkkk. Ended up throwing the donut on and driving home, but having to drop ~$1000 unexpectedly is never fun. I needed new tires anyways but wasn't planning to buy them until maybe October/November, thankfully God invented credit cards for situations like this.

I was a witness in a traffic court case and our case got delayed 5x, until a deal was reached on my 6th visit.
• Frist time the guys decided he wants to hire a lawyer
• Second time lawyer does not show
• Third time guy does not show up
• Fourth time the LEO does not show up
• Fifth time the lawyer does not show up
• Sixth time, the lawyer gets there and it is settled within an hour

A few caveats:
• I was the person hit in the traffic accident, and every time the DA / City attorney stated I could leave and the charges would be dismissed. They basically let me decided if a deal was okay or not.
• The first 4 times I went I could not do that because his insurance company was holding up paying me
• Because he had a CDL, he was willing to pay fine, plead to any non moving violation. I only wanted him to get the moving violation, I didn’t care about the fine.
• Didn’t cost me any PTO as my work was understanding, I did work during breaks, and after – of course it was on a Wednesday, my one day I always try to be in the office.
• With all due respect to these professionals who probably make a lot more $$ than I do, but who goes to law school to become a traffic violation lawyer? Talk about a job I’d hate.

Like any profession, the market is competitive and there are better lawyers than others. Sucks to find yourself arguing parking/traffic tickets but hey maybe it's the only legal job that guy could find. Also, when I worked for the State's Attorney during a summer internship, I did traffic court on my own every Tuesday and Thursday from 9:30-1. So maybe it was someone like that and not necessarily a full-time traffic court guy (or gal).

that said, instead of dialing 911, the videographer followed this guy for MILES and talking like he's on the shitter the entire time just to license the video and make money on it.
