I want to buy a Victorian. Idc if its super old. The interior of Victorians are beautiful.

Houses take up absurd amounts of time, money, and resources. I mean if you have all of that by all means get a Victorian fixer upper.

some of the Victorian's around here aren't fixer uppers. Some of them are in phenomenal shape and completely modern on the inside. Those are the ideal ones.

dream is cabin in northwoods somewhere on a secluded lake, or shack on a river out west where I can fly fish my days away. Or maine that'd be cool too. I have such a desire to get away from the hustle and bustle, which sounds ridiculous because I have relatively few responsibilities, and im not even an adult yet. Maybe its naivety and over romanticizing it

Same. I love the city and everything it has to offer, but I miss wide open spaces sooo much. On the other hand I don't miss the city nearly as much when I'm out in the country. Think I'm gonna go for it after graduation or residency.

And Laura as far as my summer trip goes right now, I'm looking into canoeing the border waters in minn. or grand tetons. The GTs are just soo far away. Still looking for other options too.
