My roommate would follow me around like a lost puppy in the gym and try to do the same weight(s). While I was doing what was comfortable for me, he'd struggle with the same weight. Trying to convince him to lower the weight was a lost cause.

So, I've been waking up at 3:30 AM on the dot every night for the past three nights... and my normal wake up time is 5:20 AM. This morning I decided to take advantage of this snafu by going to the gym at 4:00 AM. Once I get off of work at 3:00 PM I've got to drive 5 hours to Surf City, NC to hang at my Dad's beach house for the weekend... It's going to be a long day.

Goodnight sweet diet. Parents came in for the holiday and to celebrate mom's birthday.

    Saturday: Cracker Barrel
    Sunday: TGIFridays, Dairy Queen
    Monday: Cinco (mexican restaurant)
Tuesday: Applebee's, Dairy Queen (again), Dunkin Donuts
    Wednesday: Ruby Tuesday, Dunkin Donuts
    Today: Wendys so far.

They just left, but I might've gained 2 pounds this week lol

Anyone have a good ab workout (like 4 or 5 exercises that would be good in a gym setting)? I've been doing planks, crunch variations, etc., but I'm not sure if I'm balancing everything correctly. I'm also unsure of what the frequency of abs should be.

All of those are good. Variate between those, hanging leg raises, stability ball crunch, and maybe try some medicine ball exercises (wood choppers, Russian twists, 45-degree twists).

thanks.. other than that the best part of this weekend was enjoying every minute of it with friends and not keeping track of food at all...my buddy was in town so we did go to the gym twice, but we just went to have some bro time really...no serious lifting...

today, I started counting calories again... and back to the gym tonight with focus...

im about to finish my second tub of it. i find it works best about 30 mins before a workout. i mix it with a little bit more water than it says on the label because one scoop doesnt mix very well with 8 oz of water. i never really used more than a scoop and a half, and have stuck with one scoop for the past couple of months. of all the pre workouts i have used, this has worked the best for me.

For some reason I can't get my legs all the way up on hanging leg raises. I think it's a flexibility issue or the fact I do them last in my ab routine. Frustrating.

Are you fully extending your legs or have them bent at the knee?

Could be the issue. If your legs are straight, they're really hard to do. I do them by starting with straight legs and then bending them as I lift them up to my chest. Then reverse the move. Seems to work pretty well.

Been using NO Shotgun for 2 weeks now. Doesnt give the energetic jittery feeling like some PWO do (which i kind of like ). But i definitely feel endurance throughout my workout. The added protein is nice too. Today after 3 back workouts, and 3 bicep workouts i left saying to myself on the ride home i could have stayed and done more. I rarely leave totally drained like it looks some people do. Thoughts?

Although I'm trying to stay away from stimulants, Shotgun was high on my list of PWO to try.

Leaving the gym feeling as though you could have done more isn't always a bad thing. You likely didn't overtrain, which is a positive.

Thinking of getting either some C4 or Assault today. From GNC probably just because I don't want to wait the weekend. 60 servings of C4 is pretty attractive, but I hear the Assault works really well too.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't C4 have 1/3 DMAA while Assault doesn't?

yep, it does. I've heard alot of good things about C4, and pretty much everything else Cellucor offers is ridiculously overpriced, but the only downside is that GNC only carries the 60 serving one.

You might want to pick up the C4 seeing as how I keep hearing that 1,3 is going to be banned here in the US

C4 is good. I've been taking it for a few months now. Make sure to take it on an empty stomach though or you won't feel a thing. Took me a couple times to figure out the dosage/eating that works best but I like it a lot. Tastes really really good too.
