I pack in two bags a 4 man tent, the tent groundcloth, a small sunshade, a small cooler, sleeping bag, air mattress, air mattress pump, travel pillow, flashlights, a camp chair, even a folding camp table. I also pack a good deal of warm clothes and a jacket for the cold Gorge nights. These also provide padding around the tent (I'm always paranoid about the poles getting damaged...) I camp at Wildhorse, so I don't need to pack cooking gear.

I also take a small carry-on, which includes my toiletries and lighter weight clothes, and a backpack as my "personal item" in which I have tickets, cameras, and stuff to keep me occupied during the flight.

We stop via the Toupstown Bus at a shopping plaza, to pickup any other necessities, munchies and of course booze!

Best advice: get yourself a luggage scale. You can only pack your bags to 50lbs. With camping gear the weight adds up quickly.
hockey bags work awesome as well

so If I want any chance of getting seats/pit/reserved/ANYTHING BUT LAWN for sat or sunday is my best chance to just get a few friends online at 9:59 and when we can buy them pick best available and pray to go it works????

any tips would be preferred..but this is probably the highest demand tickets I have ever gone after via livenation...

I know stubhub is an option but I'd rather just get them for face friday if I can...

I packed my hockey bag to the brim. Worked like a charm. Could easily fit 2 dead-bodies worth of stuff in there.

Camping passes are available on LN now. You do NOT need a Citi bank card for camping, only for show tickets. Everything goes on sale to the public on Friday 10AM Pacific time.

We have an extra premier pass we'll need to get rid of. Obviously not looking to make profit. I can overnight it to you (or anyone else interested) once received from the WH. Lemme know!

oh you feel my pain then. and you have 167 to deal with (unless you take 18?)...so maybe you win in the SHIT-TAY contest! the battle is to get to the city...after i get to it, it's a breeze to get through and north of it.

hmm...I'm not sure 'strictly enforced' is a phrase I would use to describe these 'rules'; I think of them more as guidelines

yeah...depends on how douchebaggy the staff is on any given year. some are more hard up than others to bust people. then there are the sheriffs, who don't much like when the fireworks rule is broken...BUT I SURE DO!!!

Especially the Quiet Time. That really only happens in Terrace.

Fireworks...BAD. But then I have owned a cedar shake roof house and have a brother whose house burned one July 4th. Fireworks don't cause fires. Idiots do. And this coming from a guy who would spend thousands every July 4th when he was younger.

    THIS!

I hear where you're coming from...that can taint (teehee) the opinion of the bursts of awesomeness that are fireworks...we brought them a couple years in a row, but the last time we did, security figured out it was us...and threatened us with the sheriff, so we stopped doing that. but i do enjoy that someone keeps bringing them! one of the girls in our crew goes CRAZY for fireworks (like...needs a change of panties crazy), so it's always fun for us when they go off
