If the majority of Americans weren't some sort of combination of too dumb and irresponsible to not live a lifestyle that leads them becoming obese or overweight, I'd agree. If someone wants to gorge themselves with super sized fries and drinks, I say make them buy a small and a large.

Why does it bother you how other people choose to live their life? This is like saying that stores should only sell albums by artists YOU like, or clothes that YOU want to wear. If people are overweight from eating fast food, that's their own problem/lifestyle choice. They've got the right to eat bad food and get fat just like you have the right to eat healthy and exercise.

I hear where you're coming from, believe me...most of my annoyances are related to driving, but I failed my road test when I was 16 by doing this. It's technically illegal. But as a practical matter, you almost have to do it. I just had sitting at lights period. Every light here takes like 5+ minutes. I time it. So now I just shut my car off if I know it's going to be that long to save gas.

It can be criminally prosecuted as bad debt/fraud in some states, although this usually needs to be a clear, excessive pattern of abuse or high dollar checks instead of something small. Unlike a credit agreement, utility bill, etc., when you purchase goods or services in good faith that check acts as a negotiable instrument at which point it becomes effectively the same as cash. Once that check is determined to hold no value, the items/services purchased have effectively been stolen.

Most likely, it'll be posted on the wall of shame that some businesses have near their cash register or it can be turned over to a collection agency.

Panera confuses the fuck out of me with this, every single one I have been at.

I don't know whether to leave my shit on the table or take it to the stations. If I leave it on the table for an extra second while I'm on my laptop, a busboy/girl runs up and takes it instantly. If I take it up there, I get a dirty look by both customers and staff...yet if I just leave it sitting there I feel like a slob. Stop sending mixed signals, Panera.

I find that old people are the worst about doing this at Wendys. That's mainly because Wendy's is the old people's restaurant of choice and back in the day quick serve restaurants did not exist.

If I am on an airplane and I am in row 17 and you are in row 20 and you try to exit the plane before me........well if that happens I will kung fu slap you back into row 20 until I exit the plane rightfully before you. Sit your ass down and wait for your turn to exit the plane. You are still going to have to wait by the luggage carousel with the rest of us for 15 minutes so what is the rush to get off the plane you degenerate. That is all. Thanks.

True...especially at the destination. What's the damn hurry? You might get out of the airport 5 minutes sooner, tops. I usually wait until about everyone else is off the plane.

Screaming kids on an airplane is the fucking worst. About 10 years ago, my dad and I were flying back from Yellowstone and we were literally surrounded by screaming kids. A group in front of us, another across the aisle, and the last behind us. And none of them were together. Worst of all, I didn't have headphones at the time. My worst flight experience, bar none.

I couldn't agree more. I was flying from Seoul to Detroit hungover and was surrounded by kids running up and down the aisles, kicking my seat, etc....for 14 fucking hours.
