ha. old-fashioned me has never bought a download - physical CDs only. Anyway, I do love Me & Her. It's one of my favorites when I listen to DMB rarities on You Tube.

I don't think DMBLive should be relegated only to shows with no tape or a poor quality tape. Those qualifications don't always mean it's a show actually worth releasing. This one is a fantastic show with a super rare Me & Her jam. The fact that a SBD was available for years is only known by a very small section of the community. Everyone else now has a chance to hear and enjoy this set.
Agreed, these are available from the main DMB website not available only to AM.org active posters.

They do offer sonic advantages to the DSBDs, whether it's worth $15.19 to you or not is completely up to you. To me they do. There is no DSBD in circulation that sounds anywhere near as good as that '94 Masquerade show.

Notes: The Set II opening of Two Step into Ants Marching stands out, but it's the only time performance of Me And Her that makes this show classic. When Dave sings, "I thought once or twice of being there with her," it shows how special the song is to him. Fitting that Me And Her is followed by The Song That Jane Likes. The band also had enough confidence to close with a slow song, Satellite, showing their confidence in the Athens crowd. A true classic indeed.
    thank you internet wayback machine!

youtube could have helped with that and with far less regret.

They really should bring back the option to individually download 256/320 kbps MP3 tracks. That might've helped squash some of the complaints we've had in here. To show management these kind of releases are always welcomed.

You can, just not for new releases. Eventually you'll be able to.

I stand corrected, again. All the way up to The Academy show too. It stops when they start to offer 320 kbps MP3s. Will that change to 256 kbps when they start to offer individual track sales for the more recent shows too?

For me, it really doesn't matter as I only buy the whole shows as FLACs.

I've always thought DMBlive was aimed at us hardcore fans anyways. I don't see the casual or new fan buying shows from 1994. Especially without specific marketing for it outside of an email. I really don't know anyone that buys DMB live material anymore outside of us hardcore fans. Hence there being no official mainstream releases since 2011.

For everyone just saying shut up and don't buy it, I'm just having a discussion on a discussion board. It's fun to discuss opinions. This is mine. I am stating the reasons for why I am not excited about this particular release. I am also listening to all your reasons as to why you think it is a good release.

I am just going to say it though, "Me and Her" is not good. Unreleased, super rare, one time appearance, does not make it a great song. As a completeist, it's worth hearing, but like any artist demo or unfinished release, I kind of just shrug and say it makes sense why that song didn't get played again.

There's plenty of releases I love that others don't. There's plenty of rare songs I like that others don't. I'm not dissing anyone for enjoying it. It's just not something I wish to spend money on. If you love it, I am very happy for you that you have this show to enjoy.

There probably isn't such thing as an average show from this era like there is today, all of '94 is rock solid. Not sure how you can fault RLM for giving us anything '94. I'm glad RLM hasn't treated this series like they have done with the LT series in the past, by giving us releases completely based on the venue.

You're absolutely right, none of those are reasons for why it's a great tune (which it is)

I live 5 mins from the Georgia Theater. I'm about 22 years late. Kind Intentions sound checked here is one of my favorite things this band has done. Hopefully Dave and Tim return here.

    Yeah, the download manager sucks.

Just give them the order number and they'll reset the download.
