What's good about it?? I mean, the only really good song is (Nothing But) Flowers, and the rest are pretty lifeless if you ask me. The production is awful if you ask me.

Wow, I was listening to Back to Your Heart and thought the same thing. This album is just straight up rocking. Instant air-guitar when this album starts playing.

And what do you guys think of the Feist album?? Personally, it seems like it sounds good but it really doesn't make much of an impression on me.

Love it. She's no Fiona Apple, but I like that disc a whole lot.

Klaxons - Myths of the Near Future

I like this more and more every time I hear it. As for the Feist album, I thought it was alright, but her stuff with Broken Social Scene is much better.

    Re: Album of the Day

I like the new Feist album quite a bit. My wife and I saw her play here in Charlottesville last year at the Satellite Ballroom; she and her band were great, but the downside was that the whole place was filled with obnoxious teenage girls who were more interested in talking through the whole show and taking pictures of themselves with their cell phone cameras. Feist eventually got pretty annoyed and even sarcastically thanked the girls for talking so loudly amongst themselves and called them "such an attentive audience", or something to that effect. Interesting side note, when I went to get a beer, I noticed a sign behind the bar saying that Peter Griesar was the ABC manager...

Shit, I'm really hungry for some new music, and I always come in here to see what other people are listening to but I just can't decide what to try next.

Some of the bands I've recently picked up in the last few months:
    The National
    Umphrey's McGee
    Wilco
    Arcade Fire
    Guster

But I like pretty much any rock (alternative, metal, indie, experimental, psychadelic, hardcore, post-rock), but I just can't figure out who to check out next. Any suggestions? I want cream of the crop here people.

Try the Polyphonic Spree. They are an enormous rock um... choir, of sorts. Amazing stuff. Their newest just leaked, Fragile Army.

I strongly urge you to check out the new Dinosaur Jr. album, Beyond, as well as Porcupine Tree's latest, Fear of a Blank Planet. Probably my two favorite albums of the year so far.
