you can call them whatever you want, but going back to 1994 Purdue has made the tourney 13 times. Of those 13 trips, they have lost in the first round exactly ZERO times.

I think in general I might be making mistakes when it comes to my own conference...I have IU and Michigan both losing in the first round, as well as Purdon't. MSU and OSU in the Final Four though, but Wisky losing to Vandy

I always have the hardest time with Big Ten teams as well. I think it's just knowing the ins and outs of those teams so much more than most other teams in the field.

Wiscy is usually good for an early exit. I think Michigan wins the games they're supposed to be also aren't pulling any major upsets. Purdue has been streaky as hell. IU has talent, but have been lackluster away from Bloomington. With MSU, I think a good rule of thumb says put them one game further than common sense tells you they should go, which is why I have them in the Final Four. OSU has had a somewhat disappointing tournament history under Thad, but they looked very good last weekend - I'm thinking at least an EE for them if not a FF.

Same, with the exceptions of MSU and OSU. Every other team usually doesn't play a style of basketball that bodes well in March (i.e. Wisconsin).

Kansas winning it all.


First time around had UNC, UK, Mizzu, and Syracuse. Just not feeling it now. East and West is giving me the most trouble.

They really think Kansas is a major powerhouse. I had them winning it all over Indiana.

The most obvious matchup was UVA-Florida.

Just did this.

Picked UK (easiest one to identify) over MSU and KU over Cuse
KU over UK in the Final.

I think UConn matches up very well with Kentucky. They're right there in terms of length and athleticism. Not to mention, the run last year and the tournament experience they have is pretty huge. I don't know if I have the balls to pick it because Kentucky is so good and UConn is so inconsistent, but I could see it happening.

Definitely. Veteran team with good depth, road tested too. They played at Kansas, UNC and Pittsburgh this year, so I'd be surprised if they were rattled by any matchup they faced in this tournament. New Mexico seems like a team that has mildly overachieved this year.

I think LBSU and Michigan State matching up in the Sweet 16 would be a great game.
