Haha, I'll admit to not caring or taking as much pride in what I drive as some people might. But a GC is every bit a Jeep! My truck can do some serious work! Maybe not to the full extent of a Wrangler (which, if I remember correctly, were the first vehicles used by Armed Forces on a regular basis), but I can tow my boat, climb rocks, off-road, plow snow, etc. with my boy.

Glad I'm not the only one that doesn't refer to my car as a female.

You have an SUV with the Jeep name on it.

Wranglers and CJs are the only way to go. Has to be a manual too.

I have a Grand Cherokee now, and Steng is right it's only a wrangler thing.

I miss my wrangler... a lot!

EDIT: Only sillynannies drive wranglers that are automatics.

Probably pretty accurate. But a Jeep nonetheless!

I do want to get a Wrangler eventually. I looked into getting one when I got my GC last year but I was surprised how expensive the more recent models are. For the next few years the GC will have to do but I've all but made up my mind that a Wrangler will be my next car.*

*Until we get pregnant and my wife stops me and forces me to keep the GC or get her a similar SUV. Which is almost inevitable. But a man can dream, can't he?

Yeah, Wranglers need to be stick shift, for sure.

As much as I miss my CJ, the practicality of it with two kids is non-existent. I drive a Santa Fe these days, so at least I still have an SUV. But it's not a Jeep.

I liked my Cherokee, but Land Rover > Jeep every day

Gotta grab yourself a GC then, man. At least you'll have an SUV with the Jeep name on it

Hmmm so you'd get decent value and return for a trade-in, it sounds like....

Bored at work and was playing around on Jeep's website and a fully-loaded GC is going for like $55k right now. My monthly payment would only increase a few hundred bucks...hmmmmmmm....

That's the thing...I feel like Jeep GC's have become SO expensive. I bought mine as a one year old car back in 2002 and paid $20k. Is that inflation? Am I just old? Both? Fuck!

I used to wave at all Wranglers and all modded versions of other Jeeps.

Too many weirdos in stock Wranglers now(thanks 2WD JKs) so I just wave to modded Wranglers/other models.

I love my WK and the HEMI is amazing but I'm thinking of trading it.
