Similar note, my wife and I were in Miami this weekend, and yesterday we requested an Uber. The driver was like 4.4 stars which I thought isn't bad, but I wonder why it's not higher. It seemed to take her forever to get to us even though she was right around the corner, and we were in a pretty dead area with no traffic and few lights. I had entered the destination as a restaurant where we wanted to be dropped off. After we got in, she asked me for the destination (there was already a bit of a language barrier) and I said I'm pretty sure I entered it. She said "yes, but it's no address". I started to tell her the address, but she told me to do it with the Uber app. I confirmed that I had, she again said but it's not an address. She showed me her phone and it had a destination, and I told her looks like you need to hit the Navigate button. When she did that, it started the turn by turn directions and it looked like it was taking us to the point we wanted to go to. She exited navigation again saying but it's no address, just Miami Beach.
It was a ridiculous back and forth of us clearly seeing that her app/the map wanted to take us where we needed to go, but her thinking it wasn't an actual place. So we finally got out and canceled it. Had to get Uber to refund me the $5+ for going 0.6 miles
