No, not at all. I mean when she literally tells someone to go away. and then they go away. and then she gets mad. The two specific examples I recall are when she tells Clay to stop and leave when they're starting to bang and then he leaves, and she wishes on the tape that he didn't leave. The other is the counselor guy. She leaves on her own and then stands there hoping he comes after her when he very clearly tells her she doesn't have to go but she gets up and goes anyway.

yes, this. Also, what about the Asian dude that was trying to be nice to her in the cafeteria after the one kid tried to assault her in the restaurant booth the night before? She told him to fuck off too.

I can understand writers putting in social viewpoints into the show, especially one based on gov't/politics but what seriously bugged me about the last episode of DS was it was more like watching Short Attention Span Theater. 10-20 second clips of minimal dialogue throughout the whole show and then the massively blatant product placement from Ford. It's like a short-hand version of texting put on TV. lol u wot m8...almost unwatchable.

    Re: Official Television Thread v2.0

after taking quite awhile away from it, last couple days I went back to catching up on season 3 of the Flash. Just finished the 10th episode, so it's like 3 or so ones into the Savitar arc. This feels more and more like it's veering into Shumacher Batman territory. yea not literally outright bad puns, but I guess just the overall tone of character interactions and dialogue. Wally continues to be annoying from whining about being held back by everyone, and the current version of HR being so peppy and optimistic. and it seems like the tiniest little bit of conflict among the characters is stretched out into such big melodrama.

plus, honestly is the outfit that Wally's wearing now as Kid Flash seriously supposed to be helping him maintain a secret identity? That's ludicrous, I mean the whole top of his head is left wide open, you'd have to be completely braindead to look at him in the suit and NOT realize that's Wally West (well I guess, presuming you're already at least a little familiar with Wally the person)
so like, for the overall plot arc I'm curious to see where they're going with this and what Savitar's all about (though I'm already sure it'll just wind up being a "version" of a character we already know) but I certainly don't feel an excitement of going from one episode to the next as like when I first started with the show. It's nearing become a chore.

Watching a few rando eps of You're The Worst today, including the Sunday Funday ep (for obvious reasons) from season one.

This is the best comedy on TV right now.

Has anyone seen The Night Manager? It was a limited series produced by BBC (and then aired on AMC) based on a le Carre novel. It's only 6 one-hour long episodes and it's pretty great. Tom Hiddleston and Hugh Laurie are excellent. It reminds me a little bit of a James Bond movie and it's beautifully shot.

Taking a more just sort of black and white approach to it, then yea I'm curious about and can say I'm looking forward to WILL & GRACE's upcoming little miniseries revival on NBC.

I think it's supposed to be maybe like 10 eps? However, if they take the little short they made for the 2016 election and are just expanding out on that... ehh... not sure I'll be in a super rush to watch it. I mean never mind the whole "will celebrities just shut their mouths when it comes to politics and not make me listen to what you have to say of your opinions?!" argument, which itself is pretty stupid anyway, but whatever, even aside from that. It just simply wasn't super funny or irreverent. It didn't make me be like "aww YES! THAT is why I've missed those characters for all those years!"

having said all that, Megan Mullaly is still impossibly gorgeous and sexy after all this time. Nick Offerman one lucky mofo.

Yeah, I usually just enjoy shows for the nothingness that they are and not pay too much attention to what doesn't add up or is really fucking stupid. Like last night's episode, while one person is getting picked up by the FBI - the rest of the team is hiding behind a fucking tree. I mean, really?

Agree on the chicks though... Probably why I keep watching.

Yeah I guess the only people that join the FBI and CIA are hunks and babes.
