That's what makes this show so great.

We grow such hate & contempt for what Betty is doing and how she's reacting to a divorce...........when it's to a guy who has cheated on her around 6 times during the series. Ha ha.

Don's screwed around so many times, but we root for him more than ever, especially last night. The finale, in certain ways, reminds me of "Entourage" when Ari was fired and started his own agency.

Thoughts on next year? Favorite moments of the finale?

It was a double-standard, yes, but seeing Don wake up Betty and verbally put her in her place gave me an erection. Fucking awesome.

    Re: Mad Men

The finale was awesome.... some great lines - mostly by Roger, obviously - but the parents/kids "talk" scene was gut-wrenching. It'll be interesting to see what happens with the kids next season with the new family setup. Also, I literally cheered out loud "Joan!!!" when Roger went to call her.

But yeah, they have definitely propped up all sorts of amazing possibilities for season four... I have no idea how I'm going to be able to wait nine months for more.

Just finished last night's ep....holy shit. Not to just repeat what you all have said, but damn, what a great episode. So much that happened....who knows what season 4 holds. I think hands down season 3 is the best so far.

I was kind of surprised that they were interested in taking Pete with them. He always seemed like a loser in the office. Ah well. I hope they keep the Brit around, he's awesome as well. I loved when Mr. Sheffield went ballistic, also when Don found out about Betty's man-friend...awesomeness.

    Re: Mad Men

I thought the use of Roy Obrison's "Shahdaroba" was perfection in the last couple minutes and credits. They always nail the songs over the credits, but last night was exceptional.

I would not be upset if Kinsey was totally off the show from here on out, because he was always my least favorite character. I could see Ken Cosgrove pop up in the future again though, somehow. And Sal! Sterling Cooper Draper Pryce needs an art director!

What do you guys think of Henry and Betty? All the reviews/comments I've read have been kind of surprising... most of the women are anti-Betty and it's usually guys that are defending her. I'm torn - Don was a total dick (no pun intended) to her for the most part with the lies and cheating, but I also think Henry is a little skeevy and Don and Betty had their moments where they looked like they could be happy together.

I don't think that will happen since American Tobacco is their biggest client.

Yeah I know. Maybe not right away, but I gotta think he'll be back eventually. He was too great a character to leave the way he did... I just can't imagine his last appearance on the show is going to be a call to his wife from some mysterious phone booth.

Yes, that is what I said a mere 5 minutes ago when i finished it.

I just knocked out Season 1-3 since New Years and Holy Shit this show rules...

Don is the shit, Betty is a whore, Sally is the coolest kid character on tv...
Sterling & Cooper are so good at being funny without even trying...
The Account men are all awesome, I went from hating to liking to hating to loving Pete, Kinsey/ Crane are my favorite of them even though Pete is the best "character" of them all...

My ass will be so ready to engage this show on AMC come Season 4...

    Ratings...
    S1 10/10
    S2 9.5/10
S3 12/10 (not kidding, that was one of the best season finales ever...)

That is one of the reasons I love this show. Don is so flawed, but awesome at the same time. I mean, how many times has he cheated....but his wife is the whore.

Half way through season 3 via Netflix, the show is nothing short of stellar. Roger Sterling is one of my favorite characters on television.
