Yeah, but regardless of whether or not a concert goer agrees with the message the performer may try to send, it's their right to do so if they choose. We don't buy tickets on the condition that they don't speak their minds.
I agree with you, however - I do many of my hobbies to escape politics. I'm a Public Admin major who serves on the board of an activist group here in Arkansas, so politics is my life from the time I wake up to the time I go to bed. I view DMB shows as a way to check out of all that and relax.
Do I wish politics would stay out of DMB shows, yea, I get enough of that at home/work/school. But will I get upset about it? Nah, Dave has the right to speak his mind and I won't get mad at him about it.
